Surefire difenate blocks are a ready to use, highly effective rodenticide for the control of brown or norway rats and mice, including those resistant to other anticoagulants. Suitable for use in dry or damp conditions, indoors and outdoors.

Difenate contains the active ingredient difenacoum, which is very potent to rodents, while being much less toxic to non target species including pets, livestock and wildlife.

Difenate is safe for use around pets when used as directed, making it the ideal option for controlling rodents in domestic or agricultural areas.
  • Only a single feed is required to kill most rodents

  • Very low toxicity to non target animals, like cats, dogs, chickens and pigs
  • Low risk of secondary poisoning 
  • Contains Bitrex to help prevent accidental human ingestion

Average amount of bait required for a lethal dose (LD50) for target and non target animals:

Mouse weighing 25g:
0.4g of bait
Rat weighing 250g: 9g of bait
Cat weighing 2kg: 4kg of bait
Dog weighing 10kg: 10kg of bait
Chicken weighing 2kg: 2kg of bait

General information and tips for baiting success:
  • Remove all other food sources as best as possible 
  • Use gloves when handling bait and bait stations 
  • Use of a lockable, weather resistant bait station is recommended
  • If a lockable bait station is not available use boxes or downpipes to make a secure bait station 
  • Check bait stations regularly and replace eaten baits 
  • If bait is completely consumed increase the number of bait stations or refill frequency 
  • Bait for at least 2 weeks, and continue until bait is left untouched

Orders under 5kg shipping weight are sent express, and orders over 5kg are sent standard or road express.

Express shipping over 5kg: calculated at checkout

Orders are generally sent with either Australia Post, StarTrack or Direct Freight Express, depending on order size and location.

Most orders are despatched next business day from our north QLD warehouse.

Some orders are sent directly from our partner warehouses in Brisbane or Perth and are usually despatched in 1-3 business days.

Not all products are stocked at every warehouse and some orders may be sent from 2 or more locations.

Delivery times are estimates only and based on the delivery time for 95% of orders, in some cases your order may take longer to arrive or be subject to carrier delays, if your order is delayed more than 3 business days after the latest delivery date shown on the carrier tracking please contact us so we can check the progress with our shipping carrier.

Returned to sender parcels (RTS)

Occasionally orders are returned to use by the shipping carrier if they are unable to complete the delivery of your products.

We will not be responsible for any redelivery or return charges in the following circumstances:

in the event an order is returned to us due to an error in the shipping address provided by the customer, where the carrier has been unable to deliver the parcel/s due to restricted access or where the parcel/s have not been collected from the nearest collection point after an attempted delivery.

In the above situations the customer will be contacted once the order has been returned to us, and will be offered redelivery of the order at the customers expense (freight charged at cost) or a refund minus any original freight costs incurred (regardless of the freight cost charged at the time of sale)

Returns for change of mind

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if you have simply changed your mind or ordered the incorrect product.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Any items returned not in original condition, or items that are used or damaged may only receive a partial refund.

Return postage

Return postage will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like special orders, custom products or clearance items.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for change of mind on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, minus any shipping costs, even if you received free or discounted shipping on your order. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too you.
